Insulet

automated insulin delivery

My team was focused on testing the usability of Insulet’s first hybrid-closed loop insulin delivery device, including it’s Android, iOS, and controller applications. We were also focused on physical packaging and out-of-box experiences.

end-to-end customer experience

I expanded our team’s expertise beyond our product experiences (e.g., mobile UI) to include all customer touch points including onboarding, training, product support, etc.

innovation and next generation products

For the first time, my team was also working closely with product marketing to drive early-stage, data-driven innovation. We were conducting research to understand customer needs and requirements for our next generation products as well as new markets that we are expanding into. This process included jobs-to-be-done work, concept resonance, co-creation, and other innovation methods.

Market Research

We expanded our expertise to support other groups. We started recurring focus groups to test marketing creative. We also started to support quantitative surveys to measure customer satisfaction and other key KPIs.

internal research

Our focus was not just on our products and customer experiences, but my team also started to support the internal business to improve the employee experience across a number of domains, including diversity & inclusion, sustainability, IT support, and general R&D process.
